These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Threat View, an application that provides AI-powered safety assessments for calendar events. Threat View integrates with Microsoft Teams and Google Calendar. By installing, connecting, or using Threat View on any platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Threat View — whether through Microsoft Teams or by connecting your Google Calendar — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not install or use the application.

2Description of Service

Threat View is a safety intelligence application that:

  • Integrates with Microsoft Teams Calendar and Google Calendar to access meeting location data
  • Analyzes meeting locations using crime, traffic, weather, and news data
  • Generates AI-powered Safety Scores and comprehensive summaries
  • Assists organizations and individuals in making informed decisions about meeting safety

3Informational Use Only

Safety Scores and summaries are provided for informational purposes only and do not guarantee personal safety or replace professional security assessments.

The application does not replace personal judgment, local advisories, law enforcement guidance, or emergency services. Users remain solely responsible for their own decisions and actions regarding meeting attendance and travel.

4Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Crime statistics, weather forecasts, traffic conditions, and news data are sourced from publicly available and third-party sources. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or real-time availability of this data. Information may be delayed or contain inaccuracies.

5User Responsibilities

By using Threat View, you agree to:

  • Not misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to compromise the application
  • Not rely on the application as the sole basis for safety-critical decisions
  • Comply with your organization's policies regarding third-party applications
  • Use the service in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not transfer, share, or redistribute data obtained from Threat View without authorization

6Authorization & Access

Organizational Use (Microsoft Teams)

Organizations deploying Threat View via Microsoft Teams are responsible for informing employees about the application's usage and capabilities. Tenant administrators who grant consent are responsible for permission management and ensuring compliance with internal data governance policies.

Individual Use (Google Calendar)

Individual users connecting their Google Calendar account authorize Threat View to access their calendar data as described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings.

7Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to Threat View, including but not limited to software, algorithms, designs, trademarks, and documentation, remain the exclusive property of Threat View. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification is prohibited.

8Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Threat View and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of Threat View. This includes, without limitation, any decisions made based on Safety Scores, summaries, or any data provided by the application.

9Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Threat View:

  • For violations of these Terms & Conditions
  • For security, compliance, or operational reasons
  • Upon request from an authorized organizational administrator
  • If your subscription or authorization expires
  • Upon user-initiated revocation of access (Google Calendar users)

10Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
